The kids and I spent some time in Utah last week because Paul was gone at convention for work and to help my parents who were watching the other three grandkids for a week. We had a crazy, stressful, exhausting, fun week together. The highlight for the three oldest was to see Alyssa perform in Swan Lake. They got all dressed up and even had their nails painted by Nana before. They loved watching all of the dancers.

 Lyla couldn't take her eyes off of Alyssa!! She always talks about going dancing like Alyssa and I really think she'll love singing and dancing all of her life. She loves getting all dressed up and showing off the dresses she wears to anyone she sees.

One night, we were able to get 3 of the kids down by 7:15 and left the other 2 up with the babysitter so we could go watch Alyssa. i love watching her dance and she was amazing! It was so fun to get away for a night and to spend time with my family.

Both babies eating- for Trevor it was more me trying to sneak food into his mouth since he's still not a fan of eating.

These two sweet girls are only 6 months apart and I'm sure one day will be best friends!

 Usually though it ends up with Lyla being pushy and in Kaitlyn's face when all she wants is space. They do more fight over toys than anything else but hopefully that will change eventually...
