Thanksgiving with Grandma & Grandpa!

We loved spending a week with Grandma and Grandpa and were so grateful for their efforts to come visit us. We loved showing them all of our favorite places in Arizona: we went to Trevor's favorite train park, went hiking, to the science center, and just loved playing together. It was fun to make Thanksgiving dinner together and we are excited to live close!
One night we checked on Lyla and she had fallen asleep standing up. Crazy girl

Kaylie Rae

My sweet Kaylie is almost 17 months! Seriously time just races. She finally started walking around 14 months and now loves to just wander all around. She is such a tender, sweet little girl and a little social butterfly. She isn't as scared of other people like my first two were but loves attention from anyone! She's had a rough few months with major teething, hand foot mouth disease, a few nasty colds, and more teething. We're not on a great sleeping schedule because of it all but trying to get back on track. She has thinned out and isn't our chunky baby anymore! She isn't too anxious to talk, but can say a few things like Dad, Jesus, baby, bye. She's learning to throw tantrums and loves doing big kid things. Parks are her favorite places and she bravely goes all over them by herself.
She loves getting a sponge and cleaning.

Any time she catches the fridge open, I find her sitting on her little perch. So proud of herself.
One morning she had a blowout and everyone was asleep, so she had a nice little tub bath which she loved!

Trevor turns 3

Our sweet, feisty Trevor has turned 3 and now loves to terrorize the world. He loves to scream and roar and is learning to control his emotions and temper. He loves to dance, sing Let it Go, take sports classes, paint and color, and going to nursery for two more weeks. We'll see how he does in primary starting in January. We love our sweet boy and loved celebrating with him!
Our new favorite tradition- go to Barnes and Noble for a free treat and then they get to pick out one book.

We also went to get ice cream that evening with Dad.
Kaylie's first taste of ice cream was a success.
He had been talking for months about having a Toothless party and he loved it! We made viking shields and helmets for the kids and then threw dragon marshmallows at them while they protected themselves.

Dragons were hanging all over the kitchen

Trevor does best when he gets some one on one time with mom or dad. He loves the special attention he gets each night after the girls have gone to bed. He still takes a nap every day from 1-3 hours which is wonderful, so he gets to stay up an extra 30 minutes. We're trying to break the habits of sucking his thumb and carrying his blanket around all day...wish us luck!

Fall Fun

My computer died in October and I lost some pictures, so I've gotten really behind on blogging. I'll try to do a quick catch up without too much detail.

We spent Paul's fall break in St. George and loved hiking and park time.

Paul was out of town the week of Halloween but the kids and I had fun going to a pumpkin patch.

We were excited that Paul's flight got in early so he joined us for the last few houses of trick or treating.

We love living close to Jared and Allison! Dallin was born this fall and we have loved spending some time with them. Nana and Papa came to visit for the blessing and we had a great time together- at the zoo, hiking, just being together.

Our new favorite hike is the hole in the rock in Papago Park. Perfect length for our kids.
