Updates

We returned a toy Lyla received because she already had one, so we let her pick something out to replace it. She spent a crazy amount of time debating and agonizing over what to pick- and she still talks about the one she decided not to get.
We took the kids mini golfing and they loved it!

Trev loves clothes and often wears several layers...which is a problem in the heat we enjoy here...
My baby is growing way too fast. Love her personality and the independence she's gaining.

My weeding buddy- she loves helping out
We've spent so many hours at the park this winter- we're going to miss the 5 parks we can easily walk to

Kaylie took a mommy and me class where she got to slide, jump, have parachute time, etc. It was so fun to spend some time just with her each week and I think she really enjoyed not having the big kids racing around her, knocking her down.

the kids hate saying goodbye to daddy and can't wait til he comes home. Although some periods of school have been very busy, overall we've loved the long breaks and occasionally free Fridays and we'll miss this stage of life when Paul starts work in a few months.

Kaylie LOVES to help with any sort of baking. Cracking eggs is her absolute favorite- and my least favorite to let her do. :)

One of our Valentine's activities included breakfast dates. I took Trevor on a date to Kneaders and Paul took the girls to McDonalds. We love having one on one time with each child and they look forward to our little dates.

Winter Updates

Life is great, we're loving our Arizona winter and love this community. Here are some random pictures from the last few months.

Lyla sometimes wraps her hair up "like Mary" when she goes to sleep

Our sweet boy is still so sweet but is always seconds away from a major, screaming tantrum. I love this picture showing my grumpy, pouting boy.
This sweetie loves getting her hands on anything belonging to her siblings- Trevor's slippers and Lyla's hat.
The older kids loved this disney jr twister game over Christmas. Kaylie loved watching them play it and this was her attempt to join in- just laying on top.
Her favorite book is called "Tickle Monster" and it came with these two tickling gloves. She'll bring them over and sit in our lap, ready to be tickled.

We joined in with Lyla's preschool fieldtrip to the firestation. The kids were mesmerized!

My vegetable lover:

Lately we've doing a point system where the kids earn pennies throughout the day for doing their jobs, clearing up, cleaning their rooms, etc. They lose points for fits they throw and then they have to use their pennies if they want to buy a show or have a treat. When we watch a show, it's always right after naps and it's my favorite snuggle time with my sweet ones. Can't get enough of them.
Can't believe my baby is almost 21 months. She is getting so independent and she understands everything we say. She isn't very anxious to talk but does say some words. She loves shoes and is very particular about which ones she will wear. Treats are her new favorite thing and we have to keep them very hidden so she doesn't attempt to climb up to find something.

Valentine's Day lovin!

Lyla's class sang some Valentine's songs and then gave us the sweetest valentine. She loves her class and is so excited to go each day!
