Fourth of July

 We had a great Independence Day as a family!! We met at Grandma and Grandpa's ward breakfast and the kids were excited to participate in the bike parade. For some reason Lyla got very embarrassed when she realized that people were watching and she just froze at the start but we finally got her to go. Then we watched a parade with the Grossarths and joined them for a BBQ and fireworks. It was crazy how many huge fireworks were going off all around our neighborhood- it was smoky all over for hours.

 

Oregon Coast Trip

We spent a week at the Oregon Coast in July and enjoyed time together! It was colder than we were used to but we bundled up and had fun on the beach. The kids loved daily crafts with Nana, lots of snuggling reading time, and campfires in the sand.
